Today we’ll learn Korean grammar. Yeaaay~
Come on, be excited! Usually grammar is the one that people think the most difficult part of a language. But every language needs grammar. Every language has grammar. So keep your spirit and learn it one by one. You can do it!
Ok. Get into the material. In English, we have ‘will’, which is used to express the events in the future or intention. In Korean, there is – 겠습니다 (gesseumnida).
Today the phrase section is back. And today’s phrase is : 방을 먼저 봐도 되겠습니까? (bang-eul meonjeo bwado doegesseumnikka?) which means ‘May I see the room first?’. This phrase is used when you want to see the room which you want to rent. You might have asked some about the room. You might want to confirm and check the room. So just use this phrase.
Given that there are several levels of politeness in Korean language, we will try to express the same sentence in those levels. Note that the sentences below have the same meaning.
Hi! Good to see you again ^^
So we learned something about Hangeul on the past lesson. Alphabet and Hangeul writing system are different, so don’t treat them like one another. If you don’t remember what we’ve learned before, check the part 1 of this series here.
Are you ready to learn? Let’s go.
So Hangeul has two major components, vowels and consonants.
Now I’m giving you the phrase that you, fans of K-star, express your feelings. And today’s phrase is ‘드라마 잘 봤어요‘ (deurama jal bwasseoyo). This phrase is used when you want to express that you enjoyed certain drama. Remember that the context is..you and the person you talked to already knew what the drama is ^^
How to read Hangeul, actually?
Ok. Some of you might be wondering whether Hangeul is hard to learn or not. Or you already learn some Hangeul but sometimes you still find it confusing when you realized that ‘it doesn’t pronounced like it should be’. Another condition, some of you might have been questioning “what do I do to make myself be able to read and write Hangeul freely? I’ve been learning for awhile but I can’t remember them all”.
It’s good that you’re here. We try to help you to read Hangeul. Also we’ll share some tips along the Hangeul lesson goes, including on this post. So don’t worry~
